The important thing is whether the geometry is comprimised for the small size, and wether the wheelbase is large compared to your saddle to bar distance.
The Spotbrand works well in a small.
If I was going with suspension. I'd have probably gone 26", and squeezed out some more travel for my stack.
Not set up though.
