Yes, the rims are carbon- but 60mm front and 88mm rear means that they are way heaver than (say) Open Pro's,
Also, the hubs are track hubs, and therefore a lot heavier than road hubs would be.
So- alloy frame, simple parts, the only "heavy" bits would be the tyres comparitively speaking.
Simple! Light! Cheap! Well, maybe 2 out of 3.
