Was at the Hospital so managed to get some pictures of the doctors bikes, cycling is surprisingly popular (considering cycling is unpopular in Birmingham, especially among people with jobs) the bike stands are all double parked, just like London or Oxford which is an unusual sight here.
But all the doctors are bloody awful at locking strategies.
This is best case scenario, on good lock attaching frame to stand.
This an example of the popular weird bikes the ladies are convinced to get by evans salesmen;
The consultants are often cheapskates
Some have good quality practical bikes of a "real cyclist" yet dont see a good lock as a worthy investment.

Slightly impractical but fancy new £1200 MTB, still a string lock;
Many get the good lock but forget to attach it to the wheels;
Sometimes they lock both wheels to the frame well but forget to attach it to the stand;
And lastly the very rare person who manages to lock their frame and wheels well, to the stand. Still finds some weird way to fuck up, in this case by carrying an extra cable around for the sake of it.
