How safe is it to lock up around Mare Street/Hackney Empire while I go see Squarepusher tomorrow? im guessing not very, but public transport is looking like an epic ballache...hmmm...(stupid east london)
Bojo bike it!
I kept thinking the same thing for ages and it suddenly occurred to me last week that whenever i need to be somewhere that's not safe to lock my precious bike, I can leave my bike somewhere i know is safer and just hire bike it to the location. I really don't know why the thought never came to me before.

3 years ago I got a suit from ASUITTHATFITS, it was awful. They were just starting up though.
I highly recommend SuitSupply.
I used http://www.dress2kill.com/ for my wedding suit. That was in 2004 though, so I don't know what they are like now, but they were fantastic then. I still get to wear the suit every now and then.
Im actually trying to get work shirts that actually suit my 'unusual' body shape. -

Go to Mangas and get some made-to-measure.

dress2kill do shirts too. The ones I saw in 2004 looked good...

The nearest hire station is at the southern end of Broadway Market (Regent's Row). It's quite a long, if relatively nice, walk.
I must admit that I really don't know what the securiy situation is around there now. A few years ago, there were lots of theft reports from the stands outside the Technology & Learning Centre, but none from the racks outside the Town Hall in the Town Hall Square. No idea if they've slain the problem.

If I was to be setting up an ecommerce website (selling jam, pickles but not Ed's Nut Butter) what software would I need and how much would it cost to set up and run for 12 months...
Oh and a hosting website advertising product - how much (yes, I know, how long is a piece of string type question, but funding deadlines beckon)...

Can I adjust the reach on these?

Yes, they come with shims for the levers to set the 'neutral' position closer to the bars. IIRC there are two different shim sizes. If you bought an OTP complete they might not have included the shims.

Google suggests they are referred to as "lever adjusting blocks".

Cheers Regal. Yeah they came on my bike so I don't have any shims. The shims go between the shifter and the bar? No little screw you can just wind in to bring the lever closer to the bars, like on alot of MTB brakes?

Techdoc here (PDF) lists the part numbers as so:
No screw adjustment, no (SRAM levers work like that, IIRC). The shim fits in the gap between the top of the lever and the hood body, it simply stops the lever moving out any further.

I see. Cheers.

They are listed for sale here for a quid a pop (it's exactly the same part for the 6700/Ultegra as the 5700/105):
http://www.farnhamcycles.co.uk/shop/c/271-STI-Lever-Spares/
Otherwise you could try asking in a bike shop as they might well have some unused spares knocking around from building up customer bikes.

Who wants to do me a poster for a regular folk/country type event?
Will contribute cash money for services rendered. Just want a template with a blank space so I can keep knocking them out and inserting or even hand writing in the date of the next event.
Needsto be b&w folksy looking in keeping with the rough and ready nature of both the venue and the band. Could just do with something better than my crap knocked up in Word effort i'm having to use this month.
PM me up if you're up for it stating what you'd expect to be reimbursed.
Cheers,
A
