I just missed our CTW scheme as I was on holiday when they started the new one, bastids.
Wish I had done it 2 years ago when it was worth it.
Try the Merida CX4 Disc, that looks (and feels) really nice when I saw it in my local shop.
Forgot to say, the Genesis bike had mini V's fitted and the rider says they are excellent. He spins out at 21-22mph as he has the single speed set up for the large hill on his way in/home form Portsmouth. He did have fixed gearing but gave it up as you can freewheel at 35mph downhill.
Can't see the point myself, just get a bike with gears. Good luck.
I'm off to Belgium next month, the home of CX and go past 3 decent shops that I know of, one is a Ridley stockist. So we'll see what they have.
A shame Decathlon have dropped their CX bike, it's a bargain, but seems to only be available in France now for €899.95, which is still a bargain with 105 etc.
