I decided against a Galaxy Nexus in the end and got the S2. The screen just seemed more vibrant to me, if not sharper, and the memory card, slightly faster graphics chip, smaller size and FM radio sealed the deal.
I was buying SIM free, but instead of buying unlocked in the end bought one used but as new on O2 for £200 (with NFC), rooted it, unlocked it and installed Cyanogenmod 10 (i.e. Jelly Bean) on it.
I'm very happy with it, it's a hell of a lot of phone for the money.
^^ No worries.
