As these seatposts perform a pretty basic function, my main criteria would be user serviceability*

The high end jobbies from Rockshoxs etc. arent an awful lot more basic in design than a air sprung sus fork. So you have all the usual seal issues etc.
The one I posted has more in common with a office chair. In fact more basic.
I'm sure the techy ones work better. But frankly I dont care. I just want it simple.
Gravity dropper do a 350mm, 27.2 post. Which has 3 positions, up, 1" down, or 4" down. Which is as perfect for me as if I specc'd it myself.
