The "everybody else is just jealous" argument is one of my favourite logical fallacies in debates. Top effort!
Don't be mistaken. Its not a look of envy. It's definitely more a look of 'yeah, i should've done that too'.
When I leave work late, and I'm in my car, I leave an area of town that is 99.9% traffic-free after 8pm. To get home I have to use roads that are inhabited, but controlled by traffic lights. If they're on red, I drive through at least two sets.
The clock is ticking. If people want to sit around at a red light for no good reason because a law said so, so be it. I prefer to opt out and think a bit more freely if thats alright with you.
