My powdercoated Fort 7005 w/ Makino NJS forks.
I'm running a Ti Selle Italia SLR instead of the Brooks now. Wouldn't mind getting some Mavic Ellipses for track wheels too...
Also... I'm 5' 11" and mine is 56cm.
What stem is that?? Adjustable?......

Cross post from current projects but I finally installed the track forks I got for my fort. Pretty pleased with it now although I would like to get the forks painted black to match the frame at some point.

Any other words of advice/suggestions would be great!
Learn how to embed images, first by using the actual image file URI and second by not trying to embed images from a private Flickr.

Looking for Headset (1" steerer on forks), New Bottom Bracket (English), Cranks - Miche Advanced in black with matching chainring, aero seatpost.......
Any suggestions/ideas?

SRAM S300 1.1 is cheaper and better than Miche and comes with a BB which means you won't be back here next week asking whether to use the shit Miche BB and what length of Shimano UN-55 you need to buy instead.

Thanks again tester, I'd looked at the SRAM when building other bikes yet had completely forgotten about it, good looking piece of kit and very well priced.
Can anyone who has one of the same frames who has posted earlier in the thread help me out with Headset size for this frame with a 1"steerer?

Just a note Dick, unless you have a headset press I'd recommend getting the headset installed by your local bike shop.

Guys just to let you know, the Fort is up for sale, ive been very short sighted in my choices and impulse buys, id love to see this go to a proper home!

Selling my fort frame and forks, sad to see it go but considering its 54cmx54cm and 6ft 1, it was always going to be too small! Yours for £150

Is this low pro?
Just got mine. Starting to get parts to build it up -

No just a normal one... Must be the angle of the pic
A low pro version is on my wish list though!
good news! luckily the seller was a thoroughly decent chap - no quibble about the cracked headtube (said it was a while since he'd ridden it and didn't notice it...) and has given me a full refund. even sent a courier to come and pick up the frame. still gutted as that frame had summer slave in it's veins but glad I didn't end up losing out.
i will at some point own a fort.
