Putting your bmx upside down is a quick easy way to stand it up so its nice and stable, i used to do it with my old bmx friends and lock them together with a cheap cable when we just got a Mcdonalds or Subway or what ever, bikes were always in veiw.
not saying its a good way to lock your bike, but there's logic behind it...
