as I was unlocking my bike outside mordor sainsburys last night a young girl around the age of 11/12 rolled up to the stand next to me, hopped off, leant her bike against it and then strolled into tesco's without locking it at all.
I felt compelled to stay and keep an eye on it so I walked to the cash machine just down the road where I was close enough to stop anyone take it who wasn't her but luckily she re-emerged after a couple of minutes to reclaim it. if i'd had the spare key i would have gone over the road to where my girlfriend locks her bike when she rides to the station and taken the £1,99 cable lock she uses on the front wheel to give to her just so she doesnt end up losing it.
