  • Managed to get 28's on my track without hanging out the back of the dropouts, is quite a tight squeeze though.

  • I got my track classic back today after a couple of weeks of miles and miles of walking and spaffing money up the wall on buses whilst the shop sorted the front brake out and sorted out the bearings in the bb and rear wheel (how did that take them 2 weeks?). I've only ridden it home but it feels buttery smooth, I also picked up some raceblades so it's now in full anti/functional/HHSB/fakenger/nodder mode. I'll get some photos tomorrow.

  • If by any chance anyone on here is looking, or knows anyone who's looking for an XL Fuji Track Classic I have one for sale here.

  • just got myself a stock 2007 fuji track 54cm - its my first bike I've owned since uni. I'm trying to decide what to do with it! What is the stock crankset like compared to what's available? Would sugino messenger be a better bet?

  • You will do just fine with the one it came with.

You want to change something, start with the stock tyres and pedals. Then wheels, if you have the money. And some call the saddle bad, but it is hard to tell unless you have the exact same ass as the one who said that.

  • Good advice.

You'll work out what you want to replace eventually just by using it.

  • thanks for the advice!

  • i replaced saddle first, then tires, then pedals, then bars, then back wheel, then crankset, then bottom bracket, then front wheel. ride stuff till it dies :)

  • good advice, i've had to replace both tyres due to them wearing right down.

Could you take a shot of the clearances?
I'd be really interested to try it myself but would like to check it out first?

  • So, BB finally died on me today.

With stock cranks and rear wheel am I still looking at the Shimano UN55?

  • Sugino/Token etc. think its a 103mm spindle. My FSA one died very quickly when i had a Fuji Track...

  • Mines done about 1200 miles, give or take. So I think its done well to be fair. Wasnt impressed it happened at mile 50 of a 60 miler today and I had to limp the thing home though

  • Lol. Bad times...

  • Can't post on the wanted forum quite yet and thought it might be worth asking here. I'm after a 2008 Fuji Track. Obviously keeping a close eye on eBay, gumtree and such, and wondering if there's any where else that would sell older bike models either online or round London I can look?

  • Hey guys, What do you reckon is a reasonable price for a used, stock 2008 Fuji Track (not the pro version)?

  • Maybe speak to the guy who posted above you? Ha ha. Maybe around £150 if in good condition? (that's a total guess based on little to no evidence)

  • Bit of a long time lurker, but i guess this is the suitable thread to post my bike
just got it built up for the cycle to impetus and back...
really enjoying my track pro, any others about? sorry about the shit picture quality.

  • its a bit of a rat in my eyes, but i enjoy it

  • For anyone who is interested! =)

  • Here's mine.

  • Oh Dimi that's nice!

  • very nicee. they the original rims?

  • Yeah, all that ^^ is stock, apart from bar tape, saddle, tyres and pedals.

  • That fuji track above looks sweet! Could someone let me know the size of the pedal threads on stock cranks from a 2008 fuji track classic? Can't find the info on the 'net. Need to get better pedals, the stock ones are really awful! Thanks!
