my personal favourite cannondale track doesn't have the original fork or wound ups
Forgotten about this one. Remember when I first saw it, I thought it was rad but would look better with wound ups. Now I've seen it again I think that fork is perfect. Wouldn't work on a blue frame for me tho.

As a general rule of thumb I really don't like Cannondale Tracks..
I genuinely do believe Tim's rat Track is the best one.
Erik's is a close second.

Just feel I should also say, It's not that I hate the original dale fork, I just don't think it works with a lot of the slavest builds. This for example
Truly awesome build with nice modern components and then a skinny curverd steel fork. Just looks so out of place. Wound ups with black crowns would, for me, take this from awesome to perfect.
For anyone who's getting bored of seeing all these dales, I think we can all agree. Get over it. Dale track is pure HHSB gold all day long.

We like the skinny forks on 'dales simply because we've been conditioned in to it. Superbs, that one Pelizolli ect, modern copies of the 'dale all look shit. This is because fat tubes and skinny retro forks do actually look shite, but we've got Stockholm syndrome with this specific bike.

it's the skinny Seatstays on the dale that make the forks look nice and help balance the frame

I'm not bored of seeing Dale's. I just don't like them.

Personally i like the forks, the frame doesn't look that modern and with the quill stem, i think it works.

Exactly this.

Moving on from dales but sticking with wound ups. Have we had this?
Could do with black braking surfaces tho -

The Dales with the original forks all have tighter clearences. Isn't the 'just crashed it into a wall' look ultimate salvery?

^^^^ theres something about miche pistard wheels i like
dno what..
-
• #11797
meh, leaders and their headtubes. Why does the headtube always look so out of place. It is so far extended in front of the joint of top and downtubes.
-
• #11798
pistard's...i dont like them on that as it happens. but i loved mine for the thrash around.
cant believe i'm saying this as it isnt that i hate leaders or anything but.... but i kinda like that one^^^^^. sort out the bars and pedals and it could be quite presentable. colour is proper shady (in a good way)

The colour is really nice, have to agree on that.

That colour is awesome. Shame about the frame though. That cutout really annoys me, it's not even the right shape.
They are couplers. They allow you to split the frame in half for easier storage/transport.
