No, you are wrong, dale track frame and wound up fork is one of the radest HHSB frame and fork combos. Probably my personal favorite.
Just because something is that expensive, it does not mean that it is any good. There are better fork options on the market! £300 + for a fork that is not even track specific?! Outrageous. It's a road fork with the drop outs glued on backwards ffs.
