none of my favourites were language teachers..
Miss Gorman, pottery teacher. used to wear gold lame hotpants, and showed us the batwing jumper she knitted while she was away on jury service. all the first years were terrified of her but she had a great sense of humour (which seemed very rare), and didn't talk down to you (which also seemed rare).
