expect an invitation for a one to one meeting with threatening undertones
Nothing yet, but I'm waiting in anticipation.

No threatening undertones from me James. I just called you out as I don't believe you would call me what you have here on the forum to my actual face. I stand by that.
Every time this thread makes a positive step you come back in with this shit.
And I am the troll. Got to love LFGSS.
No... You're the bad troll,
And he's always blameless.
Do try to get it right.

The resistance and name calling is quite ironic as it just parallels the response of the 'called out' bad cyclists.
Oh stop being so fucking prissy! You HAVE been a bit of a dick on this thread - veering between Chuck Norris, Gandhi and some patronising elderly relative and then back again. Seriously, get over yourself lil' fella.

Patience, it took all of a week for your idea to percolate and burst forth, enriching the lives of us all.

It won't enrich you though, remember you're up on that pedestal looking down on all those 'bad cyclists'.

They look just like ants.

Was really disappointed when I logged in today, no one ad 'nerged' me.

Add? What is there to "add" TO? Read this thread. It's ended up a repository for letting off steam about cycling stupidity and laughing about the just plain crazy. It's the thread equivalent of a TV programme called "When Cyclists Go Bad". It's light relief from the tedium of life, it's not meant to represent a call to arms to save the fucking world you dick.
You're behaving like some annoying campaign-minded second year student twat who butts into other people's conversation in a public place in order to lecture them about the last lecture they attended, piss up their night out and steal what fun they might be having because they're too right-on not to take everything in life as seriously as they take themselves.

'areyounext.com' campaign sounds well rapey. Would come across like you've been marked/will be bombarded with spam about prize draws and time shares if you're lucky and locked in DJ's basement if you're not.
I'd look puzzled and politely decline the offer of any flyer while I was riding. Surely it's much easier to talk to people?I think more people would be receptive to a friendly piece of advice than bigcunt believes, but then, it's all a pointless discussion anyway as it's just an excercise in trolling.
-
• #4368
Also, who's going to pay for all the flyers and stickers?
-
• #4369
If we all steal a pack of post-its...

Ok back on track, today I asked someone if they knew that single speed one brake wasn't road legal.
He said he didn't know.
I made a lame joke about the next question being if he knew what to do if his cable snapped.
It was only for a couple of seconds during a light phase... Don't know if you'd call it a "calling out". But the guy seemed receptive.
In fact it all went a lot better than I expected. -

By the way can people stop quoting bcr, I've got him on ignore and even just the quoted bits are making me unhappy.
-
• #4372
I can imagine the gridlocked scenes around london as people rummage in their bag looking for their stickers/fliers in silence, holding up all the other road users in the process. In which time the person who needed the advice has long since pootled off down the road.
Or do we all need to go around with one of these on our bars?
Somehow, friendly advice/calling them a cunt seems far, far more logical. -

You are missing out :)

Somehow, friendly advice/calling them a cunt seems far, far more logical.Yeah - where and when are we supposed to hand out all this advice ?
I'm not stopping and I'm keeping my eyes on the road. -

Chip in the cost of a pint? All those who are genuine about helping the 'bad cyclists'?? I presume your motive for 'calling out' was to belittle rather than to help.

Somehow, friendly advice/calling them a cunt seems far, far more logical.I deliberately mentioned card/sticker/flyer, i.e options, you lot could discuss what you think is easiest/best. I personally would not have issue with any of them. Would only need one in an easy to grab place. I suspect for the experienced rider this would pose zero complications.
