Will be interesting to see, as I've always thought, that once you make it through your first winter, you go from being fairweather to committed cyclist.
If even half of the people on the roads now, make the transition, it'll hopefully mean that cycling in london as a viable and visible all year round form of transportation is genuinely gaining some traction..
The bike racks at work went from totally full (maybe 100 bikes) to about 6 bikes in the space of a week due to the lower temps and chance of rain. I'm properly tired of riding in winter but at least I'll get a spot and the showers will be free.
