It's textured.
I think I'll need more than a hand since I can't do anything for longer than 10 mins without pain. Either have to hire someone cheap, ask a charity if any help's available or get a loan from DWP or credit union.
Textured is going to need an agent of some description to get it free of the glass.
A hot air gun (which I have and you are welcome to borrow) would not be my choice for glass though as I would be concerned that the temperature difference across each pane of glass would cause them to crack.
The air gun is very effective on wood- the paint lifts straight off (in general).
So- a chemical paint stripper for the glass would be my choice.
