  • What kind of crazy feet do you people have? My Peloton is pretty steep (typical keirin geo) and small (53cm) and I have zero toe overlap.

  • romet is quite tight

  • I never quite got what is the problem with toe overlap. Just a minor nuisance for me. Never crashed because of it or anything

and my bikes have pretty steep angles

  • When you say fun, you mean blood. Yeah?

    Rep'd

  • as main concern here is overlap, how about a steeper ht and simply more rake on original forks? everybody could change the fork if they were not too happy.
    so close, yet so far.

Seems like a reasonable solution - I've got a steep angle and long rake on my current ride and that works a treat.

Fair enough - I only get toeverlap when riding on clipless in trainers - typically during track stands and tight turns (e.g. pulling out to overtake slow moving traffic) this is the least of my worries compared with skidding on Looks in trainers.

I would not recommend this, as BOTH steeper HT and more rake add to faster/twitchier handling. It is a misconception that less rake equals faster handling, in fact it is other way round - more rake = faster handling.

My bike's really quite steep, and I do find the overlap annoying, when riding slowly, but once you pick up some speed it's barely noticable, and the handling's still nice and twitchy.

On another note; guy with the LOW// at the top of the page looks like an absolute knob.

  • He does look rather pretentious, I must agree.

  • Could you not go all out with these bottle holders and get the X-Lab ones. Expensive and carbon, surely slave?

Not directed at you jadias just a generalisation. Bike looks rad, glad I can't see any shit stains

  • Just messing about and gave the Dodici a sniff of Brian's front wheel...I like it!

  • I think the box rims plus a fat tubed frame in a massive size sort of makes the front wheel look a bit too little somehow.
Plus it looks rad as fuck with the Corima.

  • Big in your face decals on wheels please fuck off >>>>>>>>>>>

  • The girl I'm seeing thinks it's cool and wants one for her road bike now, so that's gotta count for something.

Wouldn't her road bike have water bottle cages, or at least holes drilled for them?

Yep, she has one on the downtube but still thinks this is rad.

This bike would look awesome without those childish decals

  • saddle to bb position is silly

  • Must try harder.

  • Look Kg 396 track frame
    Look ergo stem
    Look carbon aero seat post
Nitto ADB-X black track bars 37cm (very rare)
Campagnolo record italian thread track bottom bracket (current carbon shell version)
    Campagnolo c-record cranks 172.5mm length
    Campagnolo c-record chainring, 46t
    MKS Royal nuevo pedals
    MKS Fit-alpha double toe straps
    Izumi V super toughness chain
Euro-Asia Imports gold metal cog, 17t
    HED3 wheelset

  • What a beast! Get some grips or tape on those bars and it'd be awesome.

  • Are the bars mounted behind the steerer?!

i dont see the issue with the decals. whenever an ellipse wheelset is on a build there are calls for de-stickering almost before anything else..but for me with lack of branding elsewhere they still look the nuts with the stickers and de-stickering make it look the same as multiple other black wheelset builds in this thread and others. i'm not saying stickers are better but no way should they be automatically removed to improve the look of a build. not in my eyes anyway. mine are still stickered. will remove one day but right now i think my bike looks the tits :)

  • You guys cray. Ellipse stickers are some of the nicest going! Keep stickers if they are nice and aren't making everything too 'busy', ditch them if they are crap (eg, Cane Creek).
