[I]-Sunday 28th October. Wherever we wake up, we can make our way back peacefully to Le Havre, stopping for food, site viewing... Back to le Havre for boarding at 17h00, arrival in Porthmouth at 21.30 (I know BlueQuinn was not so keen on travelling late like this, especially since it may be quite cold this time of year, and possibly raining... But otherwise we may loose some time in France...? Any suggestion? http://ldlines.co.uk/ Please have look and bring alternatives...)*
How about we book another overnight ferry for the journey back?
Sleep on the way back and arrive in Blighty during the daylight hours.
You might need to book that day off work but you wouldn't need another night's accommodation, and then we get all day Sunday to enjoy our ride back and the places we encounter, rather than having to race back at silly speeds.
