@poots - thanks, i tried the Ladle some time ago and it was too hard for my pointy bones :( thanks tho!
@cafewanda - oh I had actually looked at the SMP TRK, good to know it's padded, I was just a bit confused but the downwards pointing nose. I might give that a go, looks like something I might be able to work with, thanks for suggesting!
I ride without padded shorts - I need to find a saddle which won't require me to wear paddeds, far too much of a faff imo. Only at the velodrome.
