Just started reading this thread from the start last night on my phone. Brilliant stuff.. reminds me off all the shite jobs and grim / hilarious stuff that I've seen!
Now the proud owner of a kindle reader app and downloaded the book and a bad case of cramp in my right hand (from reading it on my daft phone).
Great stuff General lucifer!

^ blimey mi7rennie, that's a big ditto from me (except the hand cramp - obviously I must have a stronger hand from all that masturbation)
GL - haven't read it yet but first few pages are a good read. Looking forward to spending more time on the bog now

FYI I have almost finished this collection, and my favourite character is Scorcher. He is fucking hilarious. He reminds me of a friend of mine who once told me an epic story about working in a 999 call centre when he was 15, and who was given amphetamines by the managers (along with all the other call centre workers) to keep them awake on the night shifts. Scorcher is much funnier, though. You've got to have at least a couple more Scorcher stories in you, Luci, surely?

I really love to hear more of Sorcher's tall tales, it's a shame he's retiring.

Just to point out Ed Scobles review on the book is hilarious;
5.0 out of 5 stars
A Story Of Great Woe, Exhilarating Joy And Hob Nobs.
9 July 2012
By Ed Scoble
Amazon Verified PurchasePeople often think the Bible (and many other work of fiction) to be the greatest story ever told in the history of mankind.
Then came along Alien, and actually, the idea of a little alien bursting out of John Hurt's stomach in the canteen is a little more amusing than a depressed hippy nailed up to a telegraph pole being held up by tent pegs.
Point being, there's always something better round the corner that can surpass your expectation, Pantone Blues is that example, it's the perfect definition of a guilty pleasure given that the story are almost entirely non-fiction, rigorously difficult not to laugh at other's misfortune (in this case, Lucifer's), it's hard not to rate it as highly as the award-winning film of John Hurt's exploding stomach; Alien.
I do fancy some Hob Nobs thought, I just put that in the end of the title to remind myself to get some more.

Just seen this.
Scorcher's been gone for a good few months now. I'm sniffing around for some overlooked gems of his.
Also, In the next few weeks I'll be starting a new site to promote the book, and hopefully put up a few new stories.
Cheers for reading everyone.
