a samosa and a tank is all you need.
ha!
on the topic of well behaved riding, i swear there was nothing risky about my crossing that bus at E+C, by the way. you squeaked like a mouse.
KT Bee repped. Katie-Coo i can't, must spread etc, but masses of real life rep to you both.

that's ok- before we'd even got to the first tag I'd led everyone through a big junction, lights firmly on red.
no need for rep- life or forum- we really didn't do anything other than bring a map and start a thread. KT B did bring some awesome stickers though, and everyone loves a sticker -

I wish I could have come!! It looks like it was an amazing ride!

and it was the most sober, law-respecting forum ride i've been on, and pretty much the most fun, which just goes to show.
you don't need to be drunkenly RLJing to have a good time; a samosa and a tank is all you need. And the riding skills and discipline were amazing. Riders were taking the lane and most interactions with the few drivers we encountered were positive.

i know this is a very popular tag. has anyone been to the fake house at 145 rue la fayette, Paris? i looks like a big multi-storey house with rows of windows, but inside is one big chamber not divided into floors or rooms. it's a ventilation shaft for the Metro. i wonder if it is also popular with prank delivery orders.

Ha, was at Gare du Nord couple of weeks back, but didn't know about it, next time...
It does a pretty convincing job, open windows, shutters...
The distinct lack of flower baskets in the balconies is just lazy though ;-) streetview -

Good thread dredge! I'd be up for it.
Same format as before? We bring a map, stickers, meet at a pub, choose the places we want to revisit, and take it in turns to lead from one tag to another? Last time it took quite a while to revisit not many tags, so might want to pick a general bit of London we want to do. At night again?

oh and elbow?
aw wasn't it fun? I had such a good time, although as per usual, very frustratingly started several promising conversations and didn't finish them. next time must finish earlier, and in a pub. although primrose hill was top-notch.
I've been thinking all day about which bit was my favourite- can't decide between the graffitti tunnel, st katharine's dock + bridge, and the back of leincester gdns. and the tank. and the shouting at a bus driver on the way home.
plus pretty much everyone who put their name on the list turned up- some sort of forum record? and it was the most sober, law-respecting forum ride i've been on, and pretty much the most fun, which just goes to show.
