    That's standard talk in our family, after my brother once described a Sunday dinner as "dead pig and roots". Interesting linguistic trivia; beasts have Anglo-Saxon names in the field but Anglo-Norman ones on the table.
    Cattle => beef (boeuf)
    Sheep => mutton (mouton)
    Swine => pork (porc)
