Now I'm day-dreaming about D-locking a thief.
I'm not a violent person, but I've always secretly wanted to D-lock a passenger window...Ha, you sound 'fun'

Stolen Merckx Strada OS
Location: Outside Waitrose Queensway
Date: 9/9/12Damn, that's my area as well, will keep a look out for it (Bayswater Waitrose I assume?).
Do you happen to know what it was locked up with and for how long it was left there? I'd like to know if I should be upping my security, never thought this area was particularly bad for theft.

Oh I'm way fun!
Like two D-locks on each end of a kryptonite cable, Kill Bill, ball and chain , kinda fun...
Day dream

I second this, I'm there at least twice a week (lazy non-meal planning shopper) and never felt it was thefty, due to it being mega busy usually, which equals witnesses.
I usually park right at the racks at the entrance to Waitrose. -

Re. Bayswater Waitrose theft.
My mate didn't do a great job of locking it, small cable lock apparently - was "just popping in" for a ready meal !!
Made me wonder if the racks are being watched for someone a bit slack on security, as he was only 4 mins?
Thanks for the eyes out in the area.
Cheers

My Cannonda;e was stolen from Dalston on Monday evening. Last seen going up Boleyn Road.
I dont have a recent photo to hand atm but it was virtually identical to this one:-
but had a white slr, tyres and grips and had large red and white spinergy decals on the rims (which are Spinergy Xyclones).Goes without saying its a VERY distinctive bike. Ive never seen another like it in the flesh and theyre about 10 years old now. Please take a minute to have a good look at the photo above. If you see any bike within 20 or so miles of Dalston that resembles it somewhat closely it will 99% be mine.
Large reward for information leading to me getting it back..

I hope this leads to a happy ending. I really do.
I check back on here almost daily looking for my lost v-sprint. Never lose hope :(

I'm on mobile today so can't do/say much but which Monday exactly Le Pig?
-
• #9245
I called him
It was stolen this Monday (10th Sep)
He also replied that it had flat pedals.
This either means Le Pig is the guy we DAS'd and got 'chatting to' or that there is another Blue & white 3000 MTB Cannondale, lefty fork, white saddle, tyres and grips and ATAC pedals in East London.
I am superconfused.
**EDIT:
**
Hi was it you who phoned me? I think I know what you mean now (ATACs with trainers..). Yes that was my bike and a mate doing a beer run cringe. I have since put flats on it hence the confusion. Really sorry about that and thanks for the help none the less mate its good to know that its being noticed (less than a week before it was in fact nicked ironically/sadly).
What a MONSTER coincidence.Le Pig's mate gets accused of stealing a bike and then 4 days later it gets nicked.
Well, all the info we had on this was in fact before you had it nicked, so sorry to hear that and hope you get it back.
Also, I'll keep my eyes open, deffo a unique bike and easy to spot on fleabay/scumtree etc.

This Monday (10th) at about 6pmish.
It was actually my bike and I've since learned that a mate had an interesting time whilst doing a beer run on it last week. Glad to know its not a total needle in a haystack. Ifonlyitwasaweeklater :(((

^tell your mate sorry on our behalf then, we just fear the worst when we see a guy in trainers riding clipless pedals.

If you see a balding middle aged man wearing converse and riding a brown Langster with Atacs, leave me alone!

Dont be! That kind of forwardness is why this place is great! If it was a few days later you'd have had good grounds to break out the tweed run attire ;)

Hi WILL
I just saw a Boardman on the stand at Brick Lane, which looked rather too nice to be there. Similar to the above, but with white tape.
