Well I am not sure I am going to organise a ride as such as I am not 100% sure I will do this as I might be having some building work done on Sunday.
But if any one wanted to ride out to watch stage 8 from Reigate to Guildford, here is the route I would take
Clapham
Tooting
Mitcham
Join A237 to Carshalton
Hackbridge
Wallington
Purley
at outskirts of Coulsden, turn right on to B2032
Woodmansterne
Chipstead
Kingswood
Walton on the Hill
When B2032 meets A25 at Betchworth, turn right on to A25
Brockham
Dorking - thought about picking up supplies from here but race passes on this road at 12.33, so need be out of Dorking well before that (maybe and hour?)
Westcott
Wotton
Abinger Hammer - where the race passes through (twice)
The race passes through Shere (next village from Abinger Hammer) at 12.48pm , then back through again at around 13.45 pm
Er then ride home after that.
It is riding on and around the North Downs, so there will be a few hills...
Weather on Sunday looks alright, you would be heading out to countryside, so it would be nice healthy vibes anyway, so if I was going to do it, I would be leaving at around 9.30ish and just having a gentle pootle out for the day.
If this route doesn't appeal , Rapha are doing a ride leaving their cafe at 10 am and they would get you to Guildford in their own inimitable way.
Rastafari Greetings to each and every one,
