I know that there were comments on the batt life, but as this is a commuting job (30mins each way) I figure it should be cool(?). And I'd think that the drop in price makes it compare well.

The Mini drive is good, I tried one out but went for the Powerdrive as I live in a really rural area which after dark there are no streetlights or anything. The battery life on Lenzeye lights aren't that bad, not in my experience anyway. I did the London to Brighton night ride with my powerdrive on its highest setting the whole time, it was fully charged and made it to the outskirts of Brighton before it started running low. I managed to find a decent deal on spare battery which are small and easy to carry around, if I had had it on the medium setting I think it would have made the whole 60 mile trip easily.
