The Worst Cover Version

The worst cover version, ever, no contest, is a version of 'Walk on the Wild Side' by Holly and Little Joe, i.e., two of the characters in it. It's like a cowboy version of it with German-accented shouting of the lyrics and several awful mistakes. I have it on a CD but it's not on YouTube.

also i was listening to radio 4, front row last night and they did a whole dead serious feature on tim robbins (the actor)'s new album of "country" songs. it was awful. absolutely terrible shit. it's amazing what they'll let anyone with a ounce of respect in another field get away with. what a waste of air time.
