great pics there NH. Love all the DTM stuff! I still hanker after an Alfa 155...

No. Hence why they were used on Works cars.
How about warped discs? The 13" warp under heavy braking.

Thats a later 3 series with the later door trim and wheel trim instead of the steel wheels with centre cap. These were the earlier steel wheels plainted black instead of silver.
3 series knowledge biaches.
I admit it I like de dion rear suspension
Also think its a base model as the trim round the door, rear window and windscreen are black. Which makes it either a 1.4 or 1.7.
I know too much useless shit.

It is mega sexy.

The irony is that he made that film at the peak of his notoriously extensive cocaine use and wrecked about half a dozen of them on his journey to and from the set. So the same one doesn't actually appear in the opening sequence - it's just 6 new ones.
Fancy paying one and a quarter for something that's one of six...

Oh My. HHSC.
Don't know what HHSC means but I have a feeling its not good.

No.
It is good.
It is very good.
In other news I kinda got this to a level.

I'm guessing Hip Hop Slave Car. Like the similarly titled bikes, even those that don't want one like them.

I like the surfacing, the shape of the sides and the rear, especially the spoiler around the rear screen (which should provide enough turbulence to allow that curved tail to be retained), and the lower section of the rear wings.
However, I know it's only a computer model, but...
I would imagine you need more height and width in the front (and possibly back) wings with a good radius above the arches to allow for suspension travel. At the moment it looks like one bump would have both tyres on the arches and the front ones would smash through the wings. Higher rear wings over the wheels would help eliminate that somewhat concave look they have in the rear 3/4 view.
Then you have huge windows which cannot drop because they are bigger than the doors, so you are going to need a split at the rear.
And those huge vents along the doors and at the rear of the windows are (I presume) there to feed a mid-mounted engine (no room for a front one) that gets very hot, but there is nowhere for the heated air to escape. You will need rear vents on the tops of the rear wings or on the back panel. Perhaps the base of the rear screen with that neat spoiler would be a good place for an exit vent. You'd want it high up to counteract lift.
Then again, you have an enormous air intake up front which is surely enough to service a radiator, cabin air and an engine intake so maybe you don't need the rear vents at all.
Finally european legislation would probably demand that the mirrors be attached to the doors, not the wings. (and demand wipers, repeaters, etc)

Comments duly noted! Thank you.
I'm not sure about the air intakes myself.
An earlier iteration without almost looked prettier.
I might try and update when I get some free time.

ooh - what kit car?
It's a, er, Dutton. Like the bastard child of a Caterham and a Morgan but with the aesthetic and build quality of neither. Bought it for pennies when I was about 16 ad drive it to school. It's hung around since and after 20 years I haven't the heart to part with it. Now has a 1640 stage three crossflow and I've fiddled a fair amount with things to make it handle. It's charming and cheap for the track...

I know duttons. a couple of mates decided it would be a great idea to blow their student loans on a kit car, so they bought a kit when their loan came in, an built it while at uni.
i like the 'bastard child of a caterham and a morgan' comparison.

Dutton... ...an built it while at uni.
I bet it was cool enough once it was done but one day they will wake up if (they haven't already) and realise that all those hours they spent in a lockup round the back of the engineering department underneath an old sierra, they could have been chatting up any bird on campus, listening to shit music, getting lashed at the union, shagging (possibly optimistic) in fact anything but building a kit car. You need to do that sh!t in middle age when you (in theory) have time and money.
-
• #12423
The shagging, I presume?

• #12424
Kit car vs drink+birds+fun
both equally expensive I reckon. At least the car retains some value afterwards.

Depends if you pimp the bitches.
That Audi is lovely! Top marks!
