good game today from the gunners, we look like weve got a solid team here with a top quality defence marshalled by Steve Bould and a bunch of players who have serious potential going forward. If Van Persie had stayed I would have put us up there for a shot at the title in all honesty but with him gone it will be the same 3rd or 4th. Seeing him playing for united today was genuinely painful. Fucking united

There were big positives from the game. The defence is starting to look solid, tho there are still problems that need sorting. Passing was sharper than it has been recently but we are still giving the ball away too cheaply and in dangerous places. I like Giroud's presence and positional sense and I'm sure the goals will come.

I don't have particularly high hopes this year and Liverpool were not a measure of the team, they are toothless (they barely have a plan A let alone a plan B) CL place should still be our target.

And Suarez is still a cunt.
