Anna's frame got bent on the way back from London.

If you fly, please check your bike in the baggage hall, I know it's a pain, but really worth it.

But in general, I'm going to try avoiding flying with my bike as much as possible, train, boat, whatever. And a van can't come soon enough.

Oh, and have a good relationship with your framebuilder, often you need to get an invoice for repair within 7 days of the flight.

I've always been lucky flying.

This time round they told me I'd have to sign a disclaimer to say if it got damaged, they weren't to blame. They never made me sign though, I have no idea what would have happened if it were damaged.
