Yea whatevs 700c with caliper brakes, all this disc brake on road bike thing is just a trend, nothing new or innovative or useful. For CX yea makes a little more sense than road
Have you given much thought to the possible weight of a carbon tubular rim with no braking surface?
The very first place on your bike you want to save weight. Plus if you compare braking performance of a weight weenie set of hydraulic disc brakes, and a quality set of calipers on a rims carbon braking surface. There really is a massive difference. Give me the opertunity to have the performance of my WW disc brakes, and the lightness of carbon rims.....and I'd bite your hand off.
