That fork looks like it was 'modified' for extra responsiveness?

It's actually straight, but it looks bent, as it tapers the lower it gets giving the impression its bent, but actually the center of the straight section is still straight inline with steerer.

Already ordered a load of alu to start my porteur rack project.

See, smaller racks I'm not interested in, as anything small enough to fit in that can fit in my rucksack.
I'm gonna have a go at making a proper porteur rack out of 3mm alu plate that I can bungee cord larger boxes onto and if needs be, bolt a storage box/basket on for the shopping.

I think i just want a small Wald basket for my future every day bike, then thinking of using my mtb with a front and rear rack to carry anything
