Ironically it seems the real Redwing work boots available in the US are all moulded soles and padded cuffs while the European range looks like the classic designs -though the pairs I've seen haven't looked anywhere near the legendary quality.
A bit like Carhartt who used to sell indestructible union made cotton duck work wear and now ...
I blame the hipsters...
