Like I said before, I had a Carrera with exactly the same affect on it. Not really in the market for spending loads of money on a paint job if I don't need to.

Carrera used to make some very good high end bicycle at the time before London's Famous London gotten overridden with those "Tour de France" yellow road bicycle, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's a decent paintjob.

Also, the other thing is that the Rossin look extremely well done, almost like a marble finish, whether the cheaper mass produced one look a little off, like this;
