metallic undercoat and coloured laquer gives a fairly matte texture with good depth. Looking at around £120 though as opposed to the £60-70

thanks. that's a bit dearer than the project wrrants atm tho.
I know you can get a metallic powder coat and matte as well so I thought there might be the combination of the two... in one coat.
