Apart from the expected trotting out of the Livestrong party line, which is tiresome but so commonplace among lazy journalists that it's hardly worth mentioning, one line in that Grauniad piece didn't ring true to me.

Is this right? I thought CAS, if UCI appeals to it, could rule on the period of disqualification including the disqualification from historic results, but that his guilt was a settled fact following his nolo contendere plea.
