Can anyone explain why a spare battery is useful, if I can't charge it outside the phone? Just keep it safe until the original battery degrades?

Charge in the phone, swap, have charged battery.

Could do that, don't know why you'd feel the need to get up in the night to do it. I've found most of my phones happy to charge whatever the time may be.

As for the middle of the night, I charge over night and then the phone is in my pocket for the rest of the day.

I too do this, but am aware that if I were to charge a spare battery, I'd do it at another time, or at least swap it when I woke up. No idea on their delivery, most phone places tend to be pretty quick though.

I've been really happy with the S3s battery so far, I had a spare for the S1 but never took it anywhere so it ended up kind of pointless.

Heavy daily use + night out with the boys + crashing on a sofa = no battery next day

Yeah, that's when mine used to die, never remembered the spare battery though.

Reviews all suggest Nexus is only good if you like vanilla Android though. techradar basically say you're better off buying the S3. I'm over the deal.. for now.

Installed the Chrome browser on my One X after page 17 of the gifs thread killed the stock browser 3 times in a row. Wish I had done this sooner. Sooooo much better.

I wish I could use chrome on my phone.

But on my S2 it crashes all the time. Really annoying. Sometimes it'll hang for ages until I can quit it.

Gone back to using dolphin for now. Not as good as Chrome but better than stock.

I get that on SGS2 too. What keyboard do you use? I thought it was a Swype issue as it seems to mostly happen when I'm entering text on a website and mash the keys.

Just ordered a nexus 7, anyone else have one? Any good apps I should look out for after rooting? CHeers.
