so necessary
If you're that worried about scratching your watch, probably wear some gloves too.
-
• #5737
if you are so worried about the watch just put it in your fanny pack

thats the thing, i have never worried about scratching the face of any watch i have. i genuinely just like the look of the leather covers.
hence the reason my datejust now has a nasty gash at six oclock when i drank too much at farids engagement party and cycled home. it wasnt clever or funny but i now have two little reminders the other being a ripped pair of uniglo jeans.
this isnt the reason i stopped drinking.

Anyone recommend a good jewellers or watch repair places in London?
My Grandma gave me Grandpa's watch, its a Certina Automatic blue motion. The adjustment knob thingy seems to be broken - you can pull it out to change the time, but can't change the date. Want to take it somewhere to see how much it costs to repair.
Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

Girlfriend got me this for my birthday the other week. Pretty happy, I like a simple dial, and the date is a bonus. And obviously Dieter Rams is über cool.
