Get tubs, and you wont need to worry about bead locks blowing out, through tyre pressure and/or braking heat.
Get a depth, and spoke count, that wont require massive spoke tension, causing cracking around the drillings.
Then you'll be sweet.
I have a dodgy combination of relatively high tensioned spokes, on orient express carbon clincher rims, and am not dead. So its fine.
