  • So I completely forgot to take time lapse photos of this but to be honest, after a week or so it was fairly dark and didn't look much different. It's been nearly a year and as this is intended for wedding favours, I need to strain it and get it into little 50ml bottles. The bottles themselves look like mini demi-johns without the loops. I have the funnel, muslin and 100ml syringe ready to go but I am unsure when to do it. The little bottles will have cork stoppers. Any ideas if there is a finite amount of time the gin could sit in those little bottles? Or, seing as it is mostly booze, will it be fine for a couple of months. Will have to make sure I don't leave myself trying to make 100 little bottles of gin complete with twee labels during the manic few days before the wedding. (I was in the back garden the other evening spray painting candleabras FFS).

    Sloe gin?

    its that cheap??
Well then, more drinks for me!

I recommend the Gin Bramble cocktail. It's the two pictured above in the jars with lots of ice.

I just repped 'loin out of food jealousy - but now I take it back on account of his shit eyesight - there appears to be two strips left over.

I forgot to take a half-way photo, like all good instagrams, this was that.

I proceeded to eat another 6 strips of one of my companions who 'didn't really like steak...'

    Don't doubt me.
    Ever.
    Fucking EVER.

I'd be up for round 2. I want to make my own bloody mary, which I missed out on yesterday.

    This. Don't doubt this guy.

Just got back from Eat st. No pics - it was wet.

Had ribman (HOT) and Salted caramel ice cream. Well done me.

I thought of how wet you must be while I sat in the conservatory of the Pineapple. Salted caramel ice cream is good.
