Stranges haven't been good for years. The last "proper"one was Minky's and even that's proved to be as reliable as anything Italian.

What the fuck do you lot know?
Look at the evoque, you all trashed it but shit loads of people are buying it to the point that they have a factory running 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
It will sell well.

Look at the early 2 door range it was a fucking sd1/p6 inside with tiny doors.

Yes people are buying it as a Chelsea tractor to ship their bubblewrapped kids 2miles to school and back.

Someone want to google to see the comments about the rangey in late 70's. Similar its shit never sell what are BL thinking.
I like the allys as they remind me of twisted spoke wheel design.

I like the 2 door Evoque.
It's small, which removes most of the offence the normal current RR commits
It's really good looking, mainly because it is a 2 door.I prefer the 2 door classic too.
The doors are huge on those Lynx!
And it was mainly P6 (and more probaby the soon-to-be cancelled P8) inside, given that design work on the SD1 would not seriously start until after the Range Rover was launched -

Opinions are like arseholes - everyone's got one.

Can remember as a sprok/teen tring to get in and out of the back of seventies ones and the doors were tiny.
Never had an early one but remember that the instrument looked the same/similar between the p6's and early SD1 we had.

Huge doors, to get in to the back?

• #12013
tilt the seats forward - plenty of room.
Unless you were a very fat child :-) -

Apparently so.

Yeah the tilt wasn't that great as why would anyone be in the back? The seat were high compared to the footwells hence difficult to get in and out of the back.

I think that actually looks pretty damn good. The only initial recoil for me was that the Evoque was obviously the style predecessor and I hate them.
Not because they aren't any good but because they don't fit the original idea behind the RR brand and are nothing but a fashion statement. I actually went for the Disco because it adheres more to the original RR ethos than anything under that brand today (that and it is more reliable (ahm, ahm, ahm)).
I really like the styling on the new FFRR. Still holding true to the floating roof, lovely light detailing at the rear, although I will say the front spoiler is very Q7. Looks like they've raised the rear overhang as well. So will probably be the best off-roader made so far. Heard they have re-written the programming and changed most of the hard wear.

I don't know- the Swedish chap who has built it says it is ready for their big car show (VallÄkra), but it will be getting trailered there.
Can you spot a wiring harness here?
-
• #12024
I can see some wires, but they look like headlight stuff.
It's amazing how much wiring you can chop out of a standard loom
