Probably a saddle issue- get Ed to look at your sit-bones.

I think I need to work out why my left leg doesn't get enough blood flow.
Interesting

Seems like all club TT'ers already do that.

Lots of the blokes I rode past in today's race looked like rakes. Maybe if they ate more they'd go faster?

Like those fatties that ride the track..

Undoubtably.
Whether they'd go further though, is another matter.

Further, faster

Anyway, I need to work on my position some more. Stupid legs.

Went for my first proper timed 10 miler in a while tonight, ended up doing it in 26:20 ,which was about 2-3 minutes quicker than i was expecting! Not a bad starting point for me, though I know i've sort of missed the boat for this year.
2-3 mins quicker, something to do with those magic bars i sold you?

Wow, all that effort and you could have just used this handy online tool:
http://alex.phred.org/stemchart/Default.aspxtester, that tool is brilliant, you aren't aware of anything similar for a whole bike or other parts of a bike?
If not, i feel a project coming on.
EDIT: it exists and wasn't hard to find. http://gearinches.com/blog/misc/bike-geometry-comparator

I'm going to keep the bar position as is and see if I still get pins and needles in the 25 on Saturday. If so, I'm going for the original stem and spacers back underneath. Longer not lower, maybe...

Anyone out at the Bexley tonight?
-
• #3245
not me but it's going to be a fun one. Very windy out there at the moment.
-
• #3246
Boo, I have to miss the local TT tomorrow because of a work jolly.
-
• #3247
Very windy was right. 24:09. On the slow(er) bike, no tt bars as usual, forgot my booties which would obviously have got it under 24... Was wrestling the 50mm on the way out which was novel, glad I wasn't on deeper.

That was the last of the season too, wasn't it?
-
• #3249
Yup.

Did the Bexley 10 tonight as well, windy was the flavour of the day. 82/101 deep wheel was a wrestle, good job i don't have aero arms ;-)
25.10 which i was happy with as it felt slow as hell on the drag up to the roundabout and my minute man caught me about 3 miles in. He was an absolute monster, but he did't pull away on the downhill segment thus backing my theory i need to work at the "hill" section.
Really enjoyed it!
