  • thats how it looks behind him

  • got my despatch email from ledus wheelus yesterday, was hand written (not template) and explained delivery times to london specifically based on previous orders. so far impressed by the service, if the light thingy is any good I'll def consider buying another one from him.

now to decide what graphic I want to put on it when it arrives.

  • I wonder if people have had epileptic seizures looking at that thing.

I imagine people vomit at the mere site of the wiring.

  • It reminds me a little bit about an article I read on some hipster news website where a Dutch girl was stopped policemen and told to change her outfit because her legs were a distraction to drivers lol. She totally did too!

Was that the one in New York? Where the police had absolutely no record of any such thing and it turned out she worked for a marketing company associated with the bike she happened to be riding.

  • New York also had this problem

I'm no religious expert but I don't think being pious is meant to be easy... where would the fun in that be?

    Ledus Wheelus arrived yesterday :)
very cutely packaged, handwritten note and personalised envelope

how much were they, and they're out of stock already, are they available only on this site http://leduswheelus.com/ ?

  • that's the badger.
£25 each +£6 delivery, it seems to be a fairly small operation (the instructions came hand-written in pencil!) so the forum interest has probably slightly overwhelmed their supply chain... if you email them they will tell you when they next expect stock.

Its a one man operation, hand made to some degree so stock levels are going to fluctuate...

  • Received my set of leduswheelus lights today (ordered last week) - packaging with my name printed on it, a short letter, devices and zip ties inside. Most surprising was that handwritten paper letter :) First impressions: devices look great, weight almost nothing - so overall I'm happy.

Can anyone tell how to create an image library? I've saved an image, but where's a button for a new library?

  • maybe you need to run the local software not the online editor.

cheers! just had a look and can put an order in at the moment… prototypes apparently, ordered a pair.

  • Mine are turning themselves off at the moment. :-(

Might have to fiddle with the battery contacts or use re-chargables as he recommends on the site.

  • Exciting stuff - just ordered a pair.
Can you do a Communal Image Library?

you need to sign in using a twitter account (openauth or whatever it is) to create libraries.

then you download the library and install it to the device using the software for mac/windows.

mine arrived today, very impressed by service and packaging but sadly one of the led's has got a dud red emitter so just sent an email to see what my options are.

  • got pretty much instant email response to my enquiry, very helpful and issue is being rectified.

shame about the fault but these things happen and these are prototypes but can't fault the guy on how he is handling his business at all. I wish big companies were this on the ball.

I'm quite glad I got to big this guy up and get some business going his way.

  • Does he know? Could advertise his wears.
    #commission

  • I pointed him at this thread in my last email.

  • What does the pair cost posted in proper money?

  • £56 for a pair inc postage I think

  • Bargain.

  • £52 if you change the currency to £ onthe payment page :)

  • Mine arrived last week - when it gets darker will be trying them out. Quite excited about cycling back at night - one thing to look forward too with the nights getting closer
