This (record company notwithstanding) allows you to upgrade your DRM-encumbered M4Ps to DRM-free MP3s.
There are also 3rd party utilities that do it but I cannot vouch for their efficacy or their freedom from malware. You can just search for all m4p files and throw them all at one of these. Search for 'm4p drm remover' and see what comes up.

I have heard that http://www.virtualcd-online.com/ works for burning virtual CDs if you want to try that.
