No ipods. I just want to connect what's on my pc to my hifi. Previously this was achieved via the audio out. Running wires across the house seems as anachronistic as riding bikes with only one gear. Wait. Come back.
Apple Airport Express plugs into your stereo and connects to your wi-fi. Use one of these to stream your PC's sound to it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AirTunes#Third-party_software_implementations (iTunes does it natively, Airfoil works very well, but costs money. Not tried the others)
