  • MD - Ryota Murata is brilliant, he fights like a pro, my second favourite boxer in the middle weights, will definitely watch Chavez Jr, I would love to learn Kung Fu but I think I am getting too old !!!!

Middleweights are not bad, good speed and power, where the fly weights look too skinny and not as hurtful.

Never too old as they say! It's just another hobby, you can be bad, good, and take it at your own pace. Who do you think will win out of those two? I feel Martinez is just too awkward, fast and has enough pop to land on a fairly open Jr.

MD - on the inside who would be stronger King Fu or boxer?

Kung Fu because you would be able to poke eyes, grab necks, punch throat, use moves with legs to drop your opponent. I did some training with a Turkish Wing Chun guy, and classes were always different. It wasn't just same old thing, we practice situations, worked on a counter, and a counter, and a counter until there were no more. It's good that some are open to developing new ideas and not just following a book, and that's what will definitely help in a fight whatever it is. My Kung Fu instructor was this skinny, but tall west Indian. He didn't look strong but if he grabbed your arm with one hand, his technique would put you on the ground, and you were at his will. Certain things like that is perhaps something a boxer wouldn't be use to.

However, I still feel, a boxer knows how to punch and really hurt someone, and it could be game over. Not all Martial Artists are use to getting hit hard in the face.
