So, my singlespeed finally rideable. Really pleased with it. Project started because I wanted a bike that could make me ride with the gear guys but without commiting to gears.
I got slightly inspired by old crit bikes which essentially was build with track bike like geometry i.e steep angles, high bottom bracket for early accelerating out of the corners and a fairly forward position on the bike for easy drafting and a low and aero position.
The bike is about 5cm/2inches shorter than an equivelantly sized road bike so its definitely more compact.

Still a bit to do. I've got a stem with a steeper angle in sight for a lower setup. I'll also have to figure out the best way to make threaded holes for bottle cages.
