Knee pain is back again. This is seriously getting me down now.
Had bikefit and have had physio.
I'm starting to think that moving to speedplays with their endless float was a bad idea and that SPD's forcing my legs into a certain position will be better again.
I've gone back through my physio notes and am now icing up and stretching as much as possible.
Work with your fitter (if they are good) and physio, and don't give up on the speedplay yet- even if you want to take all the float out, they are still the best pedals, as your fitter will be able to gradually "creep" up on your optimal twist in a fitting session- adjusting the breakout angle, and possibly even going for unequal low-angle float. I am assuming that you are on speedplay zero's??? the float on the X series is of course non-adjustable.
