I will be stopping at certain places and I will want to use the toilet as well, it only takes 10 secs to chop a cable lock, even a "decent" one,
but yeah I do agree the reduced weight would certainly be welcome, and I won't be locking up for very long

Can't see your photo any more, seems to have gone, but if you've got a QR on the front you could take a wheel in with you if it's practical. That would stop anyone wheeling it off, so might discourage thieves even if you're using cable locks...
